My main focus on everything I do in my life is to discover the JOIE DE VIVRE (the joy of living) in every day. Part of this is also working on living a slower and more intentional life. So being able to celebrate and romanticize every moment and season in life is key to this way of living. Taking time to make the most of every season of life we are in. This is why, today, I’m sharing my Spring Bucket List.

While we don’t necessarily have SPRING here in the South, it is still my favorite season. Here in Florida, we have Summer for about 10 months out of the year and then about two months in December and January where we get some “colder” days, which is all relative when you move from Boston to Florida. We have to make the most of Spring based on what is happening around us: the landscape getting greener, the flowers start to bloom, and everything we planted in January in our gardens is starting to show signs of life.

Spring to me is a season of new beginnings, renewals, and possibilities. Make the most of your Spring season and romanticize this time of the year with the following 20 Spring Bucket List ideas:

- Visit a local botanical garden.
- Support local farmers at your neighborhood Farmers Market.
- Bake a berry cobbler or other Spring pastry.
- Have a picnic in a local park.
- Go berry picking – I’m planning on strawberry and blueberry picking and to use those in the berry cobbler.
- Buy and burn a spring scented candle.
- Find a signature spring fragrance.
- Read a book outside under a shady tree with a glass of Sauvy B (Sauvignon Blanc).
- Make sun tea – this is a more of a Summer tradition of ours growing up in the South but it works well for Spring too.
- Spring clean (or at least spring clean your closet and donate clothes you no longer wear).
- Get ready for sandal season with a pedicure.
- Renew some of your NYs resolutions. This is a good time to reflect and review the goals you set back in January.
- Attend a yoga or fitness class outdoors.
- Eat more seasonal fruits and vegetables.
- Start a garden.
- Decorate for spring.
- Fill your home with fresh flowers.
- Start practicing a slower and more intentional lifestyle.
- Make a spring dish like broccoli salad or a cassoulet.
- Tour a local vineyard and winery.
