When I started my transition to clean beauty, Cocokind popped up a lot for me. At the time, I think there were really only available in Whole Foods, but now they are online, in Whole Foods, and they are also available at Target. Today, I’m reviewing nine products from Cocokind and I’m going to post them from my least favorite to my most favorite. Let’s save the best for last!

Cocokind makes clean and conscious beauty products that are non toxic, sustainable, cruelty free and very affordable. So let’s dive into the reviews.

Cocokind Oil to Milk Cleanser

First off we have the Cocokind Oil to Milk Cleanser. This is an oil based cleanser that you’re supposed to use a little bit of water and it turns into a milky texture. This cleanser is for all skin types, that you can use everyday as it’s very gentle. It helps to hydrate and protect the skin barrier.

To be honest, I hated this product and this is actually the second one that I bought. I tried this before like a year ago and I hated it. When I decided to try Cocokind this time around, I wanted to do a complete Cocokind skincare routine, so I went back to this to give it a second chance. No matter how much water I use, it didn’t turn into a milky texture and then after rinsing it off, it felt like my skin was left with this waxy feeling that no matter what I did, I couldn’t get off. The only way I could get rid of the waxy residue that was left on my skin, was to do a double cleanse. Which I don’t always like to do because I have dry and sensitive skin. I prefer to find one cleanser that does exactly what I need.

The texture of this cleanser felt like Vaseline, it just feels so heavy and no matter how much water I added it just would not turn into a milk. I just really hated this one. I know others who love it, but it just didn’t work for me.

Cocokind Pore Refining Concentrate

Next up is the Cocokind Pore Refining Concentrate with Celery Superseed Complex. This is supposed to be used after your serums and essences, before your moisturizer. The Celery Superseed Extract is to help improve the texture of your skin. This is supposed to refine the appearance of pores and give skin a kind of blurred appearance. Based on the description, I thought of this almost like a primer but it is also skincare, so it’s treating your skin as well and giving those benefits over a long term period.

I hated this one too. The first time I used it I was a little confused about when in the process you would use this. So I put it on after my serums and before my moisturizer, but I didn’t really notice any difference. So I went back online and did a bit more research and found that a lot of reviews said it worked better underneath the Texture Smoothing Cream from Cocokind, which also has the Celery Superseed Complex. After doing that, I found my skin did look a bit smoother. But then, I used it maybe two or three more times and in the places that I was putting it I started to notice clogging of my pores.

So this is a no go for me. I used this about four times and I hated it.

Cocokind Resurfacing Sleep Mask

Next up is the Cocokind Resurfacing Sleep Mask. First off, the color and texture of this one looks kinda gross, but don’t let that worry you. If you are a regular of this blog or my YouTube channel, you know I love Bakuchiol. Bakuchiol is a natural Retinol alternative. Retinol, in my opinion, can be super sensitive and irritating to a lot of people. So I think if you can get the same results with something more natural, like Bakuchiol, and it’s not going to irritate your skin as much, why not try it.

So this is supposed to be a overnight sleep mask that reduces the appearance of dark spots, premature wrinkles, fine lines, etc. It is your all-in-one anti aging product. So far, I have used this once or twice and I definitely noticed my skin looked a little brighter and smoother in the morning. Cocokind is super affordable, as this is only $22.00 for the jar. I think this is a great way for someone to try out Bakuchiol as you can use this once or twice a week.

Cocokind MyMatcha All Over Moisture Stick

This is one of the products that Cocokind is most known for and seems to be a bestseller of theirs. The Cocokind MyMatcha All Over Moisture Stick is a really thick balm that you can use pretty much anywhere you need hydration. It is really good at nourishing and hydrating dry skin on the go. I typically have just been using this as a lip balm, but its also good for other dry areas that you might have throughout the day. So maybe, I use it in my beard areas where I tend to get dryness and sensitivity. I use it on my cuticles if they feel dry or cracked. I have used it to tame my eyebrows. I love the multitasking uses of it and it is super hydrating.

I also love how simple the ingredients are; this has organic matcha, organic beeswax, and organic coconut oil. That’s it! So if you want something that’s great on the go to add moisture wherever you might need it or for dry and sensitive spots, I highly recommend this.

Cocokind All For One Balm

Ok, right off the bat, I’m just going to tell you that I freaking love this product. The Cocokind One for All Balm is good for nourishing and protecting dry, cracked skin. You can use this on your hands, feet, your lips, cuticles, pretty much anywhere you need some hydration. One of the things I love the most about Cocokind products are the super simple and clean ingredients. This has coconut oil and Shea butter to help nourish and hydrate skin.

I’ve mostly just been using this on my hands and my feet. It has a very heavy texture but as you work into it with your body, it kind of melts down and you get enough to cover where needed. So a little bit goes a long way with this one. I’ve been taking this thing pretty much everywhere. I throw it in my gym bag, I take it to work, if I’m spending an overnight somewhere, I throw this in my dopp kit. It is a great moisturizer to always have on you for anything again, like lips, elbows, cuticles, hands, feet, whatever you need it for. It’s an amazing product!

The other thing I love about this is, you really only need to put it on like once or twice a day and your hands are super well hydrated nourished and protected throughout the whole day. I love it and this is definitely one of my favorites from Cocokind.

Cocokind Chia Facial Oil

Y’all know I love a good facial oil so I had to try the Cocokind Chia Facial Oil. This is a really good replenishing facial oil that helps to nourish and restore skin with Omega- 3 fatty acids. This oil gives your skin a really nice youthful glow.

I found this to be really soothing and hydrating. I add a couple drops of this into my moisturizer at night. The texture of this is definitely pretty thick, but it it’s not too heavy on the skin. I love the way my skin looked and felt in the morning after using this as part of my nightly skincare routine. I tend to always go back to Acure’s Argan Oil, but I love this one too and will keep it in my skincare arsenal.

Cocokind Glow Essence with Sea Grape Caviar

This next product is one that I am really loving. The Cocokind Glow Essence With Sea Grape Caviar is one of the things that I added into my skincare routine lately and on the days that I use it, I see a noticeable difference in my skin. I don’t know if it’s this product or a combination of this and few of the other products from Cocokind that I’m using.

This little guy is supposed to help prevent dehydration and improve the elasticity and suppleness of your skin. It is also supposed to help maximize the products that you use after this, such your serums. This has the Sea Grape Caviar, which is a sea kelp extract, that is a rich algae full of nutrients to help nourish the skin. It also helps to improve water retention in the skin very similar to like how hyaluronic acid would work. There’s also seabuckthorn extract, which are those essential fatty acids that are very nourishing for the skin. It also has blue algae extract which helps to smooth the appearance of skin.

I’m really, really loving this and believe that it is part of the equation in why my skin has been looking so good lately. So I’m going to keep it in my rotation for sure. It works well with the next product too.

Cocokind Rosewater Facial Toner

The next product is the Cocokind Rosewater Facial Toner. I love a good rosewater toner, but I mean there’s not much you can say about a toner. This is very soothing and hydrating for the skin. I’ll cleanse, then I’ll use this and then follow up with the Glow Essence on top.

I mean, I love a good toner, but it’s not going to have any magical wonders to it. But this is very soothing, very hydrating, and it works really well with the Glow Essence. I’ll definitely keep this in rotation as this is super affordable at $17.00 for 4 fluid ounces.

Cocokind Texture Smoothing Cream

Last but certainly not least, this is probably my favorite product that I’ve tried from Cocokind. The Cocokind Texture Smoothing Cream also has the Celery Superseed Complex. The benefits of the celery superseed is that it helps with firming and toning of the skin, reducing the appearance of pores and uneven texture, reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and improve the skins barrier function. This is also supposed to provide all day long hydration, which I feel it does a great job of doing.

This is a beautiful, silky, lightweight texture which I love. This has become my favorite daytime moisturizer. I even use this at night along with the Chia Facial Oil for a little extra hydration. This absorbs into skin very easily, leaving my skin feeling super soft and hydrated, but not greasy. Overall, I’m really loving this and it is definitely my favorite product from Cocokind

I hope you enjoyed learning more about Cocokind skincare and hearing my thoughts on these products. Definitely check them out as I’m sure you will fall in love with some of the products like I have.

Stay well! Stay fabulous!
