In today’s post we are doing a full brand review of Acure Beauty. Acure does clean, all natural beauty products really well. I’ve been slowly working some of their products into my skincare routine and I have just really been falling in love with everything. I thought I would do a quick review of what I’ve tried so far, which is about 8 products. This is only a small portion of what they actually offer though and this is basically what I picked up for my skin. There’s a lot of different products from them that I still want to try and there’s a lot of different products that I would recommend for you to try as well.

About Acure Beauty

Aure is an all natural beauty brand who believe in the power of purity. They source only the highest quality ingredients for your skin. Which means, no parabens, sulfates, formaldehyde, paraffin, mineral oil or animal testing is allowed! Many of their products are even 100% vegan.

If you follow my blog or YouTube channel, you will know that I am an ingredient reader. I get frustrated when I see marketing terms from other brands such as “paraben free”, “cruelty free” or “vegan” but then you read the ingredients and they will have some kind of toxic or irritating ingredients in their products. However, Acure is not like that at all. Everything that I’ve tried is 100% natural and clean.

Acure Unicorn Shimmer Shampoo

So, one of the things that I started using from Acure is their hair care products. They have a wide range of clean haircare depending on the needs and texture of your hair. I decided to try the Unicorn Shimmer Shampoo, because you know…I’m a unicorn! While this is really made for color treated hair to give a lot of shine and hydrate the hair it has worked well for my hair as well.

This has a nutrient rich infusion of rose quartz, true unicorn root and sunflower seed extract and is suitable for all color treated hair types. The Sunflower Seed extract helps prevent color fade. While I don’t have color in my hair, I really like this shampoo, it has made my hair feel super soft and hydrated. I have definitely noticed a lot more shine in my hair right now as well. There is a conditioner that goes with this shampoo that I would love to try as well.

Acure Simply Soothing Conditioner

The Simply Smoothing Conditioner has Coconut and Marula oils to hydrate hair, calm frizz and give an amazing smooth and shiny finish. This is really meant for someone with frizzy hair, who wants to smooth and shine their hair. I don’t have frizzy hair, but it gets very unruly at times. I like to use products that will add a little bit of shine, really smooth and almost kind of weigh my hair down. The texture of my hair is very straight but I have a lot of it and it’s very thick so it can get out of control. I always look for things that will add some kind of smoothness or shine to it. Overall, I really love this conditioner.

Acure Seriously Soothing Solid Serum

Ok, one of my favorite products from Acure is the Seriously Soothing Solid Serum! Say that six times super speedy! The main reason I wanted to pick this up is because it has Blue Tansy in it. If you’re not familiar with Blue Tansy, it is really good as a soothing ingredient for someone who has any kind of irritation or sensitivity in your skin like I do with my eczema.

The interesting thing about this product is that it is a three-in-one. It can be used as a cleanser, a solid serum, or you can use it as a mask. I’ve pretty much only been using this as a cleanser and I haven’t tried it the other ways yet. This is a thick wax like product that you massage into skin, it breaks down into an oil then you just rinse or towel that off. It is very similar to how you would use a cleansing oil or cleansing balm.

If you wanted to use this as a serum, you would leave this in spots where you have irritation. Just rub it into the skin, and as it turns into an oil, you can work into the skin and leave on. I would recommend doing that at night because I don’t know how it would react throughout the day. It might be too heavy, because it is pretty oily.

Then as a mask you would put this on for like 10 to 15 minutes, massaging into the skin and then tissue or towel it off. I haven’t tried it as a mask yet, but maybe I should try that because I really do love this products as a cleanser. I highly recommend trying this product if you are someone who has very sensitive or irritated skin. The Blue Tansy is divine.

Acure Seriously Soothing Serum Stick

I love alliteration and clearly so does Acure. In addition to the Seriously Soothing Solid Serum, they also have the Seriously Soothing Serum Stick. This is a Blue Tansy serum stick which is similar to a clear blue almost like deodorant kind of formulation. This solid serum contains Blue Tansy and Hyaluronic Acid to soothe and hydrate skin. After cleansing you would apply to this to the skin, massage in and apply anything else on top of it, such as your moisturizer and SPF.

I do have to say that I haven’t really used this a lot. I bought this mostly for travel and the first couple times I used it, I just didn’t really love it. And to be honest, I had kind of forgotten about it. I need to give this another go but definitely I don’t know if I’d repurchase this again. I really love the three-in-one as a cleanser and as a serum a bit more. I also need to compare ingredients in both of those because I’m not sure what the difference is in ingredients. However, I just don’t love this one and I don’t know if I’d purchase it again.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Rose Argan Oil

So with my eczmea, the only thing that really helps is keeping my skin well hydrated. It is for that reason that I love facial oils. One of the things I first purchased from Acure, years and years ago, was their Argan oil. The Radically Rejuvenating Argan Rose Oil is so beautifully simple and clean. It is 100% natural Argan Oil and Rose Oil. If you’re not familiar with Argan Oil, it is a fatty essential oil that does a lot of hydrating and nourishing for the skin. If you’re concerned about dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, sensitivity, or irritation this will be really, really good for your skin.

Argan Oil is probably my number one oil that I like to use at night. I have used this one for years and I still really love it. Do not worry about the rose oil or scent, as rose is also a really good essential oil that you can use on your skin for anti-aging. This product does a lot to really nourish and hydrate the skin. You can also use this anywhere; you can use it in your hair, you can use it on your cuticles, pretty much anywhere you need hydration.

Acure Marula Oil

Another facial oil I purchased from Acure is the Marula Oil. Marula is another oil that is really good at hydrating and nourishing the skin. I actually prefer the Argan Oil more to this one, but this is really nice as well. It is really thick and it tends to sit on the skin more than other oils I have used.

While I like this one, I just prefer the Argan Oil more. I think my skin looks a bit better in the morning after using the Argan over the Marula. I do really like both of these oils though and will keep the in my skincare routine.

Acure Brightening Vitamin C & Ferulic Acid Serum

Next up is the Brightening Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid Oil Free Serum. If you recently watched my SPF Beauty Battle, I reviewed six different Vitamin C serums and this was my top one. This is the one that I’m currently using. While I’m not a fan of the texture, I love the way that it looks on the skin and the benefits of this serum. I do think this one is absolutely amazing and I definitely notice my skin is looking brighter. My skin has definitely got a little bit more of a glow up!

I absolutely love this one and it is my number one Vitamin C that I’ve tried in a really long time. Again, I don’t love the texture because I’m used to a serum or oil. This one is more like a cream. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a really great 100% clean, all natural Vitamin C that you go check this out. In addition to the Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid, it has Pineapple and Matcha Tea for brightening.

Acure Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream

Last but not least, I thought I would try one of their moisturizers so that I could kind of go through a whole skin care routine with Acure. There’s definitely more from them that I want to try. The Radically Rejuvenating Whipped Night Cream has multi-peptides, Ferulic Acid and Vitamin C. The Radically Rejuvenating line is a little bit more for dryness and anti-aging.

Peptides are an amazing benefit for the skin. Peptides are basically a string of amino acids, which is a chain of protein. The most vital protein that we have in our skin is collagen and we all know collagen is what gives your skin that kind of youthful look and bounce to the skin. That gives the skin texture it’s fullness and thickness. Collagen molecules are actually too large to really penetrate the skin and do a whole lot. Whereas peptides are a little bit of a smaller molecule that can easily penetrate into the skin.

What I really like about this product is the thick texture. I’m dry, sensitive and I have eczema, so hydration is super important for me. Anything that’s really thick, hydrating and nourishing works really well for my skin. This is a really super thick texture but absorbs really easily into the skin, so it doesn’t feel greasy on the skin. I’ve definitely noticed smoother, softer and more plump skin after using this.

Final Thoughts

So that’s it for my whole brand review of Acure! I have definitely noticed a glow up in my skin from these products. I love that they are super affordable and a 100% clean. There are a few more products from Acure that I would like to try, like some of their deodorants and other body products. I think they have a new body moisturizer and scrub that I would like to try as well. Have you tried anything from Acure? Let me know your favorites in the comments.
