Since transitioning to clean beauty, I have been trying a few brands and was really drawn to Wander Beauty. I mean, let’s be honest, I was drawn in by their beautiful pink and gold packaging at first, but also the promise the brand makes to producing amazing clean beauty products.
The founders of Wander Beauty, Divya Gugnani and Lindsay Ellingson, wanted to create amazing makeup and skincare essentials that did double duty for busy women on the go. They created a line of multi-tasking products that are also full of skin loving ingredients that work for your skin, and not against it. The Wander Beauty products are cruelty free, free of parabens, phthalates, sodium lauryl sulfate (SLS), sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), mineral oil and synthetic fragrance, and without chemicals that have been proven to interrupt the body’s natural functions. Wander Beauty products are safe, simple, and effective.
I was lucky enough to be gifted three products from the company, but I also purchased a few on my own to create a full and complete skincare routine. I have used these products for the past few months to see how my skin did and honestly loved all of them. So without further ado, here is my review of Wander Beauty and their amazing skincare products.
Wander Beauty Drift Away Cleanser
What They Say:
Drift Away™ Cleanser gently sets impurities and makeup adrift. Our transforming gel-to-foam formula creates a soft lather and provides a double cleansed effect to nourish and revitalize skin in one step. Coconut-based cleansing agents create rich bubbles that pick up dirt while additional water helps absorb and wash away any impurities left behind. Powered by ingredients of the sea including sea water and kelp to hydrate and balance skin.
I absolutely loved this cleanser! First, a little goes a long way. You don’t even need a full pump for your face. Second, this did an amazing job at cleansing without stripping or drying out my skin. While this does contain Phenoxyethanol, I didn’t have any breakouts or sensitivity issues.
Wander Beauty Layover Hydrating Ampoule
What They Say:
Rejuvenate skin with Layover Hydrating Ampoule! Enriched with hyaluronic acid, pentavitin and birch juice to keep your skin quenched. The hyaluronic acid in this supercharged serum helps restore elasticity to skin. Pentavitin binds water to the skin and creates a moisture barrier, providing up to 72 hours of deep hydration. Formulated with 10% of birch juice to hydrate and help retain skin’s moisture. Flower extracts help soothe skin and defend against environmental aggressors. This lightweight and potent ampoule sinks into skin to hydrate, brighten and nourish dull and dry skin. Skin feels more supple and radiant after use.
I love any product with hyaluronic acid and this one is like hyalunronic acid on crack. It does an amazing job at adding instant hydration to my skin and works well under any moisturizer. My skin definitely looked more plump and youthful when I used this. It does a great job at hydrating while not being heavy or oily on the skin.
I also love the packaging design of this because it was great for travel. I have been doing a lot of travel recently and staying the night at my boyfriend’s house and I love that I can easily pack this and not worry about it breaking like I do with most serums that come in glass bottles. The packaging design of this is genius.
Wander Beauty Baggage Claim Eye Masks
What They Say:
Experience three innovative layers of luxury with Baggage Claim Eye Masks! The top layer of foil helps retain heat and prevents evaporation, allowing serum to deeply penetrate the skin for maximum results. The middle layer is elastic to prevent the masks from slipping, so you can mask and multitask. The third, bottom layer is an exclusive cellulose fiber that condenses and delivers key ingredients to the delicate under eye area, giving you all the skin-loving benefits you need for instant results.
Hyaluronic acid hydrates skin to diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Aloe leaf extract offers cooling, soothing, de-puffing and awakening effects to the under eye area. A powerful blend of 17 amino acids helps maintain skin’s hydration, texture and healthy appearance.
These are by far the best eye masks I have ever used. My main complaint with most other eye masks is the material they are often made of is flimsy and doesn’t sit well on the eye area. Most of them often slip and slide down the face, but these stay put!
These deliver some hydrating ingredients that leave the eye area plump, smooth and brighter. It’s like an instant 8 hours of sleep. If you have dark circles or puffiness you will absolutely love these.
Wander Beauty Glow Ahead Face Oil
What They Say:
This multitasking beauty elixir instantly hydrates and absorbs into the skin, revealing a bouncy, youthful complexion. Our lightweight formula can be used to nourish skin, prime for makeup and refresh your glow on-the-go. The innovative spill-proof Wander Dropper is always travel-ready, allowing total control one drop at a time.
When I started really looking into how to heal my skin from eczema flare ups, facial oils were key. My skin tends to be dry and sensitive (with the eczema flare ups) and I have found that keeping my skin hydrated is key to having great looking skin. So my skin loves facial oils, and I typically always use one at night either by itself or in conjunction with a moisturizer. So I was really looking forward to trying this one.
It is not as heavy as most normal facial oils, so it does a great job of hydrating the skin and giving skin a beautiful glow without being too heavy or clogging skin. I have used this under moisturizer, spf and even makeup and the texture works well with whatever you put on top of it. It definitely gives skin a more youthful and glowing appearance. Also, this is similar packaging to the Layover Ampoule so it is perfect to travel with or just keep in your bag throughout your daily routine without worry of breaking or leaking.
Wander Beauty Dive In Moisturizer
What They Say
Dive In™ Moisturizer is enriched with pentavitin (saccharide isomerate) which binds water to skin and creates a moisture barrier, providing up to 72 hours of deep hydration. This potent hydrator helps to instantly smooth and strengthen skin’s natural defenses, preventing moisture loss. A powerful combination of thirteen fruit extracts including strawberry, raspberry, cranberry and acai defend skin against damaging free radicals that cause premature aging. These antioxidant packed fruit extracts also tone and brighten skin over time. Humectants such as glycerin, panthenol and sodium hyaluronate are known to attract water like a magnet, leaving skin plump and hydrated. The lightweight formula and non-greasy gel-cream texture absorbs quickly into skin and works well under makeup for a beautiful complexion.
This moisturizer has a gorgeous texture. It is like a whipped cloud like gel that blends easily onto the skin and absorbs well. It definitely helped protect the moisture barrier of my skin and kept skin well hydrated throughout the day. I really loved this moisturizer and will keep it in my routine.
I can honestly say that I (and my skin) really loved these products from Wander Beauty. The packaging is gorgeous and the prices are reasonable. The Layover Ampoule, the Baggage Claim Eye Masks, and the Drift Away Cleanser will defintely be staples in my skincare routine. There are a few other products in the line that I am interested in trying as well so I’ll be placing an order soon and will update you on those products as well.
I’m also curious about trying out some of the bath and body and makeup products.
